Mom / Grandma

October 2013
Dear family,
It’s newsletter time again, I hear, so here goes. I want to thank each one of you that sent me a birthday card.  They are all very wonderful.  I appreciate them very much..  You are all so wonderful.  I love you all very much.
I’m getting old but I have a sister who is 96 so I still have a way to go to catch her age.  But great-grandma Alldredge was 100, so that is still a long way if I live that long.
I have been making dish rags for Nancy.  I about have them done.  I have made a very lot of scarves (over 120) and am still making them.  Darlene brings me yarn to work with.  I also make pot holders.
I want to thank Darlene for the birthday party with all her family that could come.  Jerry and Gerri and Amber’s family and Alan and Rinda were there.  It was wonderful.
I’m sorry I can’t hear good when you call me on the telephone. So I miss getting to visit with you when you call me.
It’s going to be Thanksgiving before long.  Hope everyone can come to dinner on that day.

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary November, December and January.
I love you all very much and wish you all good health and happiness..

September 2013
Dear Family,
I’m told that it’s newsletter time again so I will try and write some of what I am doing.
I was thrilled with being able to watch Conference.  It was so good.  Hope I can live up to what I heard.  Everyone gave such wonderful messages.  I’m hoping we all will live up to it and be ready to go beyond the veil and live forever.
I am making scarves and dish clothes all my life.  That I can do. Being on oxygen all the time there isn’t very much I can get done.
After Conference, yesterday, I went to Jerry’s for dinner and then to Darlene’s for the ice cream party.  The rest of the time I sit or work at home.
I had the privilege of going to Manti to the temple to Deni Ann’s wedding.  It was a very wonderful time for me to see her sealed to Cameron for time and all eternity.  So Wonderful.. And then we went to lunch after the wedding then headed home.  I also had the opportunity to go through the Temple in St. George when she took out her endowments.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        Great Grandma and Great-Great Grandma
PS  A note from me, Darlene... Grandma’s 92nd birthday is coming up Oct 27th
Another note---Jeanie and I cleaned out some cupboards at Mom’s---so we have a table of “You take it or we DI it”  in the back room.  We also found some neat “stuff” for the auction next year.  That’s NOT on the table.
